How soon can I have surgery?
Dr. Goldberg performs laser eye surgery on Mondays and Thursdays. Dr. Goldberg is a busy surgeon and performs other procedures like Glaucoma surgery and various non ohip covered surgeries the rest of the week.
Does TRANSPRK hurt?
TRANS PRK is a no touch, no cut, no blade, no alcohol and no pain procedure. The procedure takes about 10-15 minutes total. We also recommend getting a cold mask for your eyes after surgery in case of mild discomfort.
What is recovery like?
Typically patients return to work 5 days after surgery. During those 5 days there are not restrictions, except you can not drive.
